01Who we are

The AutoBlaze app (the "app") and the autoblaze.app website (the "site") are operated by Zenevo SRL, CUI RO45678179, înregistrată la Registrul Comerțului sub nr. J08/509/2022, cu sediul în Str. Orizontului nr. 6, Sânpetru, jud. Brașov, România ("we"). For any question about your data, write to us at contact@zenevo.ro.

02What data we collect

• Account data. The app automatically creates an anonymous account (a unique identifier). Optionally, you can link your account to Apple or Google — in which case we receive the account identifier and, if you choose to share them, your email address and name.
• Uploaded photos. The photos of your car that you select for generation.
• Generated clips. The AI-generated videos based on your photos.
• Purchase data. Payments are made exclusively through the App Store / Google Play and handled via our in-app purchase management provider. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of credits and payment events (including the raw content of payment notifications) so we can credit your account correctly.
• Usage data. Events about how you use the app (e.g. generating, saving, or sharing a clip), via a product-analytics provider.
• Error reports. Technical information about errors and crashes, via an error-monitoring provider.
• Push notification token. Only if you accept notifications: a technical push notification token, used solely to let you know when your clip is ready or if generation failed.
• Device code (free demo). A technical device identifier, stored by us only in cryptographic form (keyed hash), used solely to meter the free demo: one demo clip per device every 6 months. We do not use it for any other purpose and never combine it with other data.
• Language preference (site). When you manually choose a language on autoblaze.app, we store a cookie ("NEXT_LOCALE") with the value "ro" or "en" for 6 months, so we can show you the same language on your next visit. It holds no personal data and does not track your browsing. Because it is a user-interface customisation cookie, stored only after you explicitly choose, we do not ask for your consent for it.
• Approximate country (site). When you open autoblaze.app, our hosting provider determines which country the request comes from, based on your IP address, and reads the language preference your browser sends, so we can show you the site in Romanian or English. We do not store your IP address in our own systems and do not retain the resulting country; our hosting provider processes it on our behalf and may retain it briefly in its server logs.

03How we use the data

• to provide the service: generating clips from your photos;
• to credit your account after a purchase;
• to understand and improve the app (usage statistics, errors).
• to measure which ads bring installs and purchases and to optimise our campaigns (only with the “Ad measurement” consent).

We do not send you marketing communications. If we ever introduce them, we will do so only with your explicit, prior consent.

04Legal bases (GDPR)

We process data on the basis of: performance of the contract (providing the service), consent (sending your photos to the AI provider, usage statistics, error reports and ad measurement — each requested in the app, and each can be withdrawn at any time from Account → Privacy), and legitimate interest (security, abuse prevention, improving the service). We also rely on legitimate interest for metering the free demo (one demo clip per device every 6 months); you can request details of this assessment and object at any time by writing to the address below.

05Where photos and clips are stored

• Uploaded photos are stored in a private cloud storage space that only you can access. For generation, they are sent to the AI provider via signed links with a limited lifetime.
• Generated clips are hosted on a public CDN, at unique, unguessable addresses, but without authentication: anyone with the link can view the clip. This is what makes saving and sharing clips possible. Do not publish the link if you don't want it to be seen.

06Who we share data with (processors)

We do not sell your data and do not use it for other companies’ advertising. With your consent (“Ad measurement”), we share install and usage events with the measurement provider and with the advertising network that showed you the ad, solely to measure and optimise our own campaigns.

07International transfers

Some of the processors above may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

08How long we keep data

• account data, photos, and clips — until the account is deleted;
• payment records — for the period required by legal obligations;
• usage data and error reports — per the retention policies of the respective providers;
• the free-demo device code — at most 6 months from the last demo, including after account deletion.

09Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can write to us at contact@zenevo.ro. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

10Account deletion

You can delete your account directly from the app: Account → Delete account. Deletion removes your uploaded photos, clips, account data, and authentication account from our systems. Payment records may be kept for the period required by legal obligations, and usage data and error reports held by our processors are removed per their retention policies. For any additional deletion request, write to us at contact@zenevo.ro. Exception: the technical device code used to meter the free demo is kept for up to 6 months (see section 8) — it cannot identify a person and is deleted automatically when it expires.

11Children

The service is not directed at people under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

12Changes

We may update this policy; the current version, with the date of the last update, is published on this page.
